The architects working with the firm Fernier & Associés, founded in 1962 as Biro & Fernier, have designed numerous buildings. Their expertise has long served when dealing with projects necessitating the refurbishment of historical buildings or those of special architectural interest. The Théâtre du Rond-Point created for Jean-Louis Barrault in what had been the Palais de Glace on the Champs-Elysées or the transformation of the Ducal Palace of Nevers into prestigious office facilities for the town of Nevers are among the best examples.

These projects require an excellent knowledge of traditional construction techniques, experience in multiple disciplines and the relevant legislation as well as strong construction site management skills.

40 years on, Jean-Jacques Fernier, along with Laurence Fernier & Alfa, Aris Atamian, Jean-Pierre Brossier and Agnès Pariso, are continuing the same approach - professionalism and pragmatism combined with competence and elegance.
